At Alamo Driving School inc, we offer a variety of driver training packages—bundled services that provide top-quality defensive driving instruction at an affordable price. Our private, one-on-one driving lessons are available seven days a week, with flexible day and evening hours. We also provide convenient door-to-door service, picking you up and dropping you off at your home, workplace, or school.
Lessons & Packages
One 2-Hour Lesson
Take your first step towards becoming a skilled driver with a two-hour individual lesson. This session is suitable for teens, adults, and seniors and counts toward the DPS requirements for teens
Three 2-Hour Lessons
Our three-lesson package offers six hours of personalized driving instruction. This package meets the DPS requirements for teens and is perfect for those looking to build their confidence behind the wheel.
Five 2-Hour Lessons
With a total of ten hours of training, our five-lesson package provides extensive behind-the-wheel experience, catering to drivers of all ages and fulfilling the DPS requirements for teens.

Starting your journey to becoming a safe and confident driver is easy with Alamo Driving School Inc. Our streamlined, three-step process ensures that you have everything you need to begin your driving education with confidence and convenience.

Policies
By utilizing our driver training services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Package Payment Policy: Full payment is required before scheduling any lessons. You can register and pay online or call our office to arrange payment and scheduling over the phone.
Refund Policy: A $25 administrative fee will be charged for refund requests made after purchasing lessons or packages. No refunds will be issued after one year from the purchase date.
Lesson Cancellation: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is needed to cancel a lesson without penalty. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a $90 rescheduling fee will apply.
Lateness Policy: Instructors will wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you arrive late, the lesson will end at the scheduled time. After 15 minutes, you will be marked as a no-show.
No-Show Policy: If you do not attend a scheduled lesson, a $150 fee will be charged for rescheduling, or the lesson will be forfeited.
Permit/License Requirements: A valid Minnesota Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License must be presented at the time of your lesson. Failure to do so will incur a $150 fee for rescheduling.
Online Scheduling Access
Available Lesson Times
Driving lessons are offered Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Weekend lessons are available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Evening lessons from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM may also be scheduled in select areas. Please call or check our online schedule for specific availability.
Driver’s Day-of-Test Service
Alamo Driving School will coordinate with you and your instructor to schedule your driving test. This ensures that your instructor is available to accompany you. Please do not schedule your driving test independently.
Available Monday to Friday Only.
This service lasts approximately 2½ to 3 hours and includes pickup and drop-off. It is exclusively available for students who have completed a minimum of 6 hours of driving lessons with Alamo Driving School.
Our state-certified instructors will accompany you from the pickup point until you receive your license, ensuring all paperwork is in order. We provide vehicle insurance and registration for a hassle-free experience.
Test Readiness: Alamo Driving School will assess if a student is prepared to take the driving test, and will not schedule this service for those who are not ready.
Driver’s Ed Online via Laptop
30-Hour Online Driver’s Ed Course
We offer a convenient 30-hour online driver’s education course for teens aged 15½ to 17½ looking to obtain their learner’s permit. Completing this course is a requirement for all teenagers in this age group.
